Some Summer Nights

This is a unique hand made quilted wall hanging, titled "Some Summer Nights".

It depicts Sandhill Cranes silhouetted by the midnight sun stretching and in-flight in the grassland of Creamers Field in Fairbanks, Alaska. 

All cotton fabrics, rayon threads for machine applique, wool batting finished in a custom Cherry solid wood frame.
